About the Founder
Paul Zaragoza is the founder of My Kids Brain and a practicing school psychologist based in California. With a career dedicated to supporting students from preschool through high school, Paul has worked with families from a wide range of ethnic, cultural, and educational backgrounds. His firsthand experience with the academic and social-emotional needs of students has given him deep insight into the challenges many children face—and the gaps in resources that exist to support them.
Motivated by a passion for educational equity and child development, Paul created My Kids Brain to provide families with accessible, effective tools to help children thrive. His mission is to empower parents and caregivers, close academic gaps, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children not just locally, but around the world.

About LALA (Literacy and Language)
LALA—short for Literacy and Language—is a groundbreaking educational tool developed to teach both children and adults the foundational skills needed to read and understand language through phonemic awareness. Created by Paul Zaragoza, founder of My Kids Brain, LALA is the first product of its kind in his mission to help close the learning gap for school-aged children.
Developed from years of experience working with students in school settings, LALA was born out of a clear need: a tool that not only helps children build critical reading skills at home, but also provides instant feedback and can be used by the entire family. This is especially vital for students whose native language is not English, as LALA supports language development in a way that is accessible and engaging.
By equipping children and their families with essential phonemic awareness skills, Paul Zaragoza believes LALA has the power to positively impact both current and future generations—laying the foundation for stronger literacy, deeper understanding, and greater educational equity.
